Our Wines
2006 Home Ranch Vineyard Pinot Noir
Our Pinot exhibits the Mystic “House style” of generous fruit extraction, rich deep flavors and soft lingering finish. 2006 has poise and structure to see this wine pleasantly into the next five years. • $28/bottle
2005 Hillside Vineyard Merlot
The benchmark and mainstay of Mystic has always been our Merlot and 2005 is no exception. Packed with dense brambly red fruit and balanced by a generous addition of gentle French oak, this wine is hearty yet supple. A perfect accompaniment to Roast Beef, Lamb, Braised Pork Ribs or even a good Sausage. • $24/bottle
2005 McDuffee Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Our best effort yet from this wonderful Mill Creek Valley site south of The Dalles. The fruit has that solid, intense Cabernet character- a little tobacco leaf, some briar and blackberry and even a touch of dill thrown in for good measure. • $28/bottle
2007 Smith-Cerne Vineyard Syrah
Each year the fruit from this vineyard is a little more robust. The wine is dark and inky again this year and is set off by nuances of plum and black licorice in both aroma and flavor, and enhanced by just a smidge more toasty oak than last year. • $22/bottle
2007 Gunkle Vineyard Barbera
Ah…they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery…so you will be pleased when you compare the half dozen other new Oregon Barberas to our opulent 2007. This truly is Winemakers’ wine—rich, concentrated, briary fruit with a touch of resin character and enough backbone and structural acidity to compliment the richest of foods. Enjoy the original! • $28/bottle
2007 Hillside Vineyard Zinfandel
More aromas of rich raspberry preserves and dusty black pepper than anything else delight your olfactory senses while the essence of the fruit is concentrated as it coats your tongue. Ample alcohol adds to the sweetness effect in the mouth without drying or a residual “heat” in the finish. • $20/bottle
2003 Reserve Merlot
From the renowned “Hillside Vineyard” west of The Dalles 2003 was truly a spectacular vintage. Long of both day and sun constructed a wine that benefitted from a full 28 months in the barrel; creating a full bodied long lived wine whose richness of red fruit is balanced with beautiful dusty cocoa tannin. Totally worth the wait and luscious to drink now. • $35/bottle
Our goal is to stay small, handle the wines and winery ourselves and produce outstanding hand-crafted wines in limited quantities. The wines are ready to drink upon release yet will also benefit from additional cellaring. SALUTÉ!
